The Foundation decided to renew its partnership with La Villette to increase awareness among children and adolescents of the relationship between humans and animals through educational and workshops.
In addition to the current activities, a new workshop entitled: “Dans la peau d’un chien” (In the skin of a dog) will allow a better understanding of canine behavior in different situations (how to communicate well, to have appropriate gestures...).
This workshop, led by the canine educator Alain Lambert, comes after “Dog en ville” (Dog in town).
Regarding educational activities, the Foundation formed a partnership with La Villette through 6 workshops to introduce the animal world to children from 2 to 13 years old.
Among those workshops, a new initiative emerged called: “Dog en ville” (Dog in town).
Led by a canine educator with his dogs, this workshop aims to better understand the behavior of canines in urban areas.
This workshop has had a great success with children and their parents, schools, as well as specialized institutions for persons with disabilities.
The Foundation supported the exhibition "Bêtes et Hommes" (Animals and Men) which was set up to draw attention to philosophical and societal issues concerning the place of the animal vis à vis man today.
This blog dedicated for teachers offers many educational resources and referrals.
